Hootsuite is a social media management tool that allows users to schedule and post updates to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, WordPress and other platforms from one dashboard. You can easily manage multiple networks all under one roof, saving time and giving you the ability to measurw the return on the social networks you use.
Hootsuite’s REST API allows you to build applications that interact with Hootsuite and operate on same data model. For example, message actions performed through the API are visible inside the Hootsuite Dashboard. Features of the API include:
- REST/JSON APIs to integrate with Hootsuite back-end services
- HTTP Webhooks for simple event notifications
- SAML 2.0 for Single Sign On integration.
We are excited to announce that our Hootsuite API integration is now available through our Elements Catalog. Our Hootsuite Element allows you to integrate Hootsuite into your app in a fraction of the time necessary for custom development. With Cloud Elements, you can connect once to our Social Hub API and get connected to all of the leading social media apps: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and more.
Our Elements start with a normalized set of features, including authentication, paging, errors, events and search. If your use case requires an integration or resource we don’t currently offer, it’s simple to add it in with Element Builder.
With our platform GET, POST, PUT, PATCH and DELETE social profiles, teams, users and other objects straight into your Hootsuite dashboard.
