GoodData API: Database Application Integration Through RESTful APIs

By McKenzie Fetzer in Product Updates Posted Dec 8, 2016

GoodData’s cloud-based, multi-tenant platform can deliver reports on various sources, while allowing users to carry out ad-hoc analysis to answer pressing business questions.

GoodData Application Integration

We are excited to announce that our GoodData API integration is now available through our Elements Catalog. Our GoodData Element allows you to integrate a leading database service into your app in a fraction of the time necessary for custom development. Access to resources such as /objects, /projects, /users and /ping is standard and ready to use.

Each of our Elements start with a normalized set of features, including authentication, paging, errors, events and search. If your use case requires an integration or resource we don’t currently offer, it’s simple to add it in.

GoodData API

Our GoodData API integration is a part of the Cloud Elements Database Hub. Our database integrations leverage the tables contained within your database and transforms them into a collection of resources. RESTful methods (POST, GET, PATCH, DELETE) are used to interact with these resources (accounts, contacts, files). The Database Hub currently connects to MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, QuickBase and GoodData. Through our pre-built, uniform APIs it’s also easy to connect GoodData with CRM, Finance, eCommerce and Help Desk services.
