Thunder and Lightning at Fort Collins Startup Week

The week of May 20th brought golf-ball sized hail and the threat of tornadoes to the Denver area. While many hunkered down to sit out the storm, entrepreneurs and visionaries gathered for the inaugural year of the Fort Collins Startup Week, produced by Chris Snook, entrepreneur, author & venture catalyst. Fort Collins Startup Week is a celebration of everything entrepreneurial in Northern Colorado from leading edge technology to social innovation.

Cloud Elements CEO & Co-Founder Mark Geene presented on Lean Product Management for Startups. Mark shared his wisdom on how to drive new product integration in an agile, lean and efficient manner.

Cloud Elements Co-Founder Gary Gaessler also participated in a discussion entitled Scaling a Development Team- Issues, Opportunities, and Codetrotters.

The discussion was held by local industry leaders- Michelle Hadwige with COIN, Monica Coughlin with OIT Colorado and was facilitated by international industry leader Sofía Stolberg, CO-Founder of Piloto 151, Puerto Rico’s first coworking space and growth platform for entrepreneurs.

Cloud Elements was thrilled to be a part of the first ever Fort Collins Startup Week, and looks forward to many more opportunities to network with and provide support to the Denver front range startup community.
